Lead In Water Testing
The health and safety of all students and staff is the top priority for DeKalb County School District. Recent events have brought national attention to water quality issues. Though we have absolutely no evidence of water quality issues in any school or building, we want to ensure that our water is safe for consumption. With this in mind, we are proactively testing the drinking water in each of our 150 schools, centers, and facilities. As directed by Superintendent Dr. R. Stephen Green and the DeKalb County Board of Education, testing will begin on September 20, 2016 and be completed by the summer of 2017.

AdvancED/SACS Stakeholder Feedback Survey
Dekalb County School District and all of its schools are engaged in an ongoing continuous improvement process, of which all stakeholders are an integral part. Dresden Elementary School is using the AdvancED Parent Survey as a means to elicit your opinions to help target areas for the school system to improve and areas to continue to be effective. The five sections on the survey represent the five AdvancED Standards for Quality School Systems and provide a means for learning about parent expectations of a high-quality school system.

Parents your opinion is important to us, and we ask that you take the time to complete this survey. The online survey will be available until September 29, 2016. In order to complete the parent survey, please click
